Bees!!!!

Well, I know I was going to tell you about the 2009 Seasonal Assortment – but first I must tell you what happened last night. I was weeding the flower beds – beds I’ve had for a very long time, when one stubborn weed just wouldn’t come out. I yanked, yanked, yanked – then an overwhelming buzz came over me. Ouch! Ouch! I was being stung by what felt like a million bees! I ran towards the house screaming, “help me, help me” – my poor husband came flying out of the house – I’m batting at my head, stamping my feet – yelling, “get the hose, please – hose me off!” Well, my husband, who’s had cancer and only has one lung moved like the wind and was hosing me off – I’m still screaming, ripping off my clothes (not necessarily a good thing) and trying to get the bees out of my hair – when I hear my husband going into a breathing attack! Horrible! I’m upside-down under a stream of water telling my husband to breathe through his nose, trying to get his breathing under control, finally – it’s working. What a mess we are! Anyway – I’m on fire – crying my eyes out – the worst pain I’ve ever felt (I’ve had three sons all by natural childbirth too!) I can’t take it!!! I found 7 stings on my body and one in my head.
